Update: May-01 – Polycom released a newer revision of the 5.0.2 (Rev D) as the UCS update for Heartbleed Open SSL Vulnerability.

New or Enhanced Features

  • 91735 Added support for Lync Enhanced Presence (applies to all VVX Business media phones).
  • 91676 Added support for second source LCD touch panel of VVX-500
  • 91554 Added support for using characters like Umlaute ö ü ä or even Eszett ß for passwords and user IDs by latin keyboard input.
  • 91513 Added support for the CAB package on VVX-500/600 HW revisions( B, C, E, E1, F, J and M) for Lync deployments.
  • 89698 Added support for configuring separate port ranges for Voice and Video data.

Enhanced Capabilities

  • 92203 The phone now receives a call without any reboot/crash when it receives an incoming call during the process of re-registering with the server.
  • 92189/91512 In a Lync 2013 environment, stability of the phone has been improved and no longer causes any unexpected reboot (applies to VVX 300/310/400/410).
  • 92085, 92226 Phone now displays the correct caller ID when an Enhanced Feature Key (EFK) is used to dial.
  • 92033 Phones no longer reject incoming calls with 400 Bad Request for 15 minutes after reboot when voIpProt.SIP.requestValidation.1.method=”source” and voIpProt.SIP.requestValidation.1.request=”INVITE” are configured.
  • 92022 Adding more than 50 BLF entries on the phone no longer results in a reboot with a core dump (applies to VVX 300/310/400/410)
  • 92003 In a BToE scenario, phone no longer reboots with a core dump when a call is placed from the phone.
  • 91985 Phone now sends the correct IGMP Join/Leave messages.
  • 91968 Enhanced Feature Key (EFK) for “SendToVoiceMail” now works without any issue.

  • 91932 Disabling the missed calls call list on the phone now works as expected and phone no longer populates the numbers in that list in the auto call list match.
