Hi,
after the update I faced some troubles with Lync. For example, when viewing screen sharing in full screen and presenters change, somehow Lync fails to internally “switch streams” – which results in empty screen being shown complete with special screen sharing buttons (maximize/full screen/request control). To solve it – need to select main application form from “Window” menu panel option, and reenter full screen from there.
Also, have just experienced random EXC_BAD_ACCESS crash (no calls/clicks & application was backgrounded)
Do you know some workaround for the crash situation, please?
Hi Jana,
unfortunately, i did not experience the same behavior and not seeing any new KB’s on this matter.
the only reference i could found is the following website: http://blogs.office.com/2014/10/29/new-lync-mac-adds-media-resiliency-conversation-history-os-x-yosemite-support/ but nothing on the issues above.
Regards,
Guy
After using the English language fix to address previous instabilities I have upgraded to 14.0.10 which I have found incredibly unstable. It suffers from frequent EXC_BAD_ACCESS crashes, especially when trying to commence a chat from the contact list or search. On restart from the error it seems to fail to correctly register the status of the contact list and any search goes of into infinite loop land.
Curiously, it does seem stable when the chat is initiated by the other party or when the the group chat is initiated via Outlook Lync link launch.
Anyone else facing the EXC_BAD_ACCESS and any resolutions yet ?
Rusty
Microsoft released yesterday the following KB: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3019983 which fixes several issues presented in this update

When somebody is presenting and I am going full screen, I can’t go out of full screen. Then Lync is crashing often but I haven’t understood yet the reason.
Same problem here
Constant crashes with Yosemite point release update and Lync 2011 14.10. Awful.
