The RGS issue (KB3148256) reminds me to this one: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3092728 , back from Nove 2015. The text is exactly the same, wondering if the 1st repair attempt was insufficient, so MSFT had to re-release the fix for a 2nd time.
nice catch, and yes, it won’t be surprising, isn’t it? 🙂
I just realised that KB3092728 is for Sfb server 2015 fixed in 2015 November, and KB3148256 is for Lync server 2013 from 2016 April. It took 5 months for MSFT to fix the same bug in the 2 different releases.
